A fan of Australian electronic duo Peking Duk managed to trick his way backstage during the band's tour by editing their Wikipedia page to say that he was a family member. Rather than kicking him out though, the duo - whose biggest hits include 'High', 'Mufasa' and 'Say My Name' - ended up "having a bunch of beers with him."
David Spargo managed to get into the green room of Peking Duk's Melbourne gig by claiming to be related to them. When the security guard reacted with scepticism, he quickly pulled up the band's Wikipedia page and pointed out his name under "family" - which he had added himself just moments before.
Speaking to The Guardian, Adam Hyde, one half of the duo, said, "“It was probably the most genius, mastermind move that I’ve ever witnessed. It’s crazy. He just did it on the spot, in a second on his phone. He told the security guard he was our stepbrother or something, and showed them the Wikipedia page and his ID."

He continued, "We ended up having a bunch of beers with him and he was an absolute legend. He wasn’t a creep or anything. He was like the most normal dude we've ever met. That's what makes it more hilarious."
After the band posted what had happened on their Facebook page, David Spargo himself commented, "Thanks for the evening lads." His comment has had nearly 2,000 likes.
