An ex-DJ from Manchester club The Haçienda, which was well known for regularly spinning acid house classics is selling off his whole vinyl record collection.

Former resident DJ of the club Buckley Boland announced on his Facebook page that he’s willing to discuss “serious offers” for his 8,000 + collection of records.

Bolan was inspired by fellow DJ Veteran Dave Haslam after he sold his 4,000 strong vinyl collection to DJ Seth Troxler back in November.

He wrote, "OK, so I see Haçienda DJ Dave Haslam has sold his record collection to Seth Troxler and it's got me thinking... I have around 8,000 that I'm thinking of selling." "Anyone who knows me knows that all the killers from late 80's to around 2007 are in there before I made the switch to digital... [any] serious offers?"

Liam Gallagher and former New Order bassist Peter Hook will soon be featuring in a new documentary about the Haçienda called You Own The Dançefloor? It was recently screened at a charity fundraiser at Manchester's Royal Northern College Of Music on 15 August.

Noel Gallagher recently predicted that vinyl will be dead within the next four years, regardless of the fact that vinyl sales are at their strongest in years. Here's a super handy infograohic that explains the evolution of viny sales just in case you don't believe us. For Christ's sake, even Tesco are getting involved in the wax game.
