Footage of Aretha Franklin moving Barack Obama to tears of joy has surfaced online. Check it out below.
Franklin, who was performing at the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors in Washington DC on 6 December, in tribute to Carole King, performed her classic 1967 single '(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman'. King coco-wrote this song with Franklin.
Obama is seen wiping his eye as Aretha introduces her song sat at the piano in a fur coat. Gripped from the start, the whole star-studded room is moved by her performance, and as she springs on to her feet for a flamboyant end to the performance she has the whole venue overwhelmed, almost in shock by her magical voice.

Aretha Franklin was bringing this years ceremony to a close after the event showcased songs written by King and her late husband Gerry Goffin. Other starts on the night included James Taylor who played 'Up The Roof'. Sara Bareilles sang 'You've Got A Friend' from Carole King's her landmark album Tapestry. Janelle Monae covered both 'Will You Love Me Tomorrow' and 'One Fine Day' which King wrote for The Chiffons.
The Kennedy Centre Honors are only given to artists who are deemed to have made significant contirbutions to American culture through the performing arts.
