After a "suspicious looking man" was arrested wandering around Taylor Swift's driveway, representatives for the singer have hit out at the media for publishing her address.
The man was taken into police custody yesterday afternoon (3 February) after being found decked out in army fatigues at the foot of Swift's driveway. Police had received a call from someone in the neighbourhood informing them of the man's activities.
TMZ, who've published photos of the man's arrest (which means they, too, were lurking outside her house), reports that the man was not charged, but was sent to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
In a statement, Swift's representatives said: "This is why it's irresponsible for the media to publish the addresses or recent real estate transactions of celebrities. This, or potentially worse, is the end result."
Swift herself hasn't comments on the incident, though we doubt it's the first time she's had to face borderline stalking.
