Do you like to live life loud? Then check out this brilliant new one from the rising Shark Dentist - hear 'Bin Man' on Gigwise first below.
We premiered Shark Dentist's debut video 'Cut Myself Shaving' back in December and described their sound as "a vicious clusterfuck of jarring distortion, and monotone post-punk vocals". It was a lot of fun.
Their forthcoming single 'Stranger' by comparison has reigned in a lot of the playful insanity and revealed a track that recalls Pablo Honey era Radiohead. It's a beautifully crafted alternative pop cut and positions the band as one of London's most exciting new indie bands. The track has had great reception over the past few weeks from Lauren Laverne on 6music and was featured in Q Magazine. They're making giant strides in such a short amount of time.
Subsequently, Gigwise is delighted to reveal the premiere to 'Bin Man', the exquisite slacker rock B-side to 'Stranger'. It was recorded at Famous Times Studio by Sean Read (Graham Coxon/Manic Street Preachers/Dexys Midnight Runners/Dave Gahan). Listen to it below.
'Bin Man' really shows the band flourishing - this is a band with the serious intent to make a dent in the industry.
There are only 300 copies of the single 'Stranger' with this b-side in the world so if you want to get your hands on one head out to one of the shows listed below:
