The news of David Bowie's tragic death has sent fans flocking to buy his incredible new album Blackstar - with the record now selling out on vinyl.

The Thin White Duke died earlier this week after losing his 18 month battle with cancer, just days after releasing his brilliant new album Blackstar on his 69th birthday

So great is the demand for the record, that it has sold out of all vinyl copies just four days after release - reports Vinyl Factory. All 10,000 copies are said to be gone from retailers, with another pressing coming at the end of the month.

"Sony have told us that, as things stand, they cannot supply the quantities we need to cover our sales of this item from their initial pressing," say Norman Records. "Feel free to place an order for it (you can use our ‘Pay Later’ checkout and only pay when the item finally arrives) but please expect significant delays in shipping as the inevitable and necessary repressings will take time."

Vinyl copies of the record are now appearing online at inflated prices, with one even appearing on eBay with the lithograph for £800. Watch the unveiling of the vinyl record below.

Now, Bowie's Blackstar is set to go straight to No.1 in the UK, and even make his first US chart-topper - while a staggering 13 of his albums are currently in the charts
