Iggy Pop covered David Bowie's 'Jean Genie' with members of the Ptati Smith Group at a New York benefit concert last night (22 February). Watch it below.
A number of musicians performed at the Carnegie Hall yesterday as part of the Philip Glass-curated Tibet House US Benefit, which aims to raise money for the non-profit educational instituation and cultural embassy Tibet House US.
The line-up included FKA twigs, Sharon Jones, Basia Bulat, Dechen Shak-Dagsay and Iggy Pop, who joined forces with members of the Patti Smith Group to perform David Bowie's 'The Jean Genie'.
As if that wasn't enough, he went on to perform a second Bowie cover - this time 'Tonight' with Sharon Jones.
This is the latest in a string of musical tributes paid to Bowie since his death last month. At the Grammys, Lady Gaga performed a medley of his greatest hits.
