Catfish + The Bottlemen win British Breakthrough at BRIT Awards

Catfish & The Bottlemen have surprised many by being the deserving winners of British Breakthrough Act at the BRIT Awards 2016. 

The rising guitar heroes were honoured for coming through the ranks as a new band to smash the mainstream, off the back of their success of 2014 album, The Balcony. They beat the likes of Wolf Alice and Years & Years to take home the prize. 

"Thank you very much to anybody who voted for us, you're class," said frontman Van McCann. "We're very grateful, very humbled...see you in a bit."

They've got some pretty massive festival shows lined up this summer, but first they'll be playing some headline shows of their own across the UK. Full dates are below, with tickets on sale from 10am on Friday 26 February. For tickets and more information, visit here
