More about:

Ahead of a heavy summer of touring, M83 have announced their return with a new album called Junk.

The album will follow 2011’s Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming and will be released on 8 April.

Anthony Gonzalez, the band’s frontman, will be embarking on an international tour with help from Yacht, Borns, Okay Kaya, Bob Moses and Tame Impala. Gonzalez is expected to promote the band’s album during the tour.

Recently, M83 were advertising an opportunity to the public for a female keyboardist and singer to join their band. It is expected that the successful applicant will join Gonzalez on tour, replacing former member Morgan Kibby.

To remind yourself of how awesome M83 are, check out the video for their classic, ‘Midnight City’ below.
