Kasabian performed a brilliant surprise set at a party held yesterday in honour of Leicester City's historic Premier League title win last night.

In perhaps the greatest sporting upset of modern times, 5000-1 odds, Leicester City won the Premier League title by a wide margin, with the utmost skill. The team, alongside their fans celebrated in glorious sunshine with an open-top-bus parade and a victory concert in front of an estimated 240,000 people in the city's Victoria Park on Monday.

After the team lifted the trophy on stage, fellow Leicester City fans Kasabian appeared for a short surprise set performing some of their biggest hits -  including ‘Underdog’, ‘Eez-Eh’, ‘L.S.F.’ and ‘Fire’ - with the band somehow sending the fans further into rapture.

Watch the brilliant footage below:

Guitarist Serge Pizzorno told the NME he wasn’t surprised by the massive turn-out, and said that City’s victory had transformed his home city. “It's unbelievable what it's done for the town,” he said. “It's a proper underdog town, but it's having a little moment. A lot of the big cities get used to this kind of thing, but now there's a proper light being shone on Leicester”.

Kasabian will keep the remarkable party going with two more shows at Leicester's home ground, and further dates in Bridlington and Swindon.

Full dates are shown below. Get tickets and more information here.

Tue May 24 2016 - Bridlington Spa Centre
Thu May 26 2016 - Swindon Oasis Leisure Centre
Sat May 28 2016 - Leicester King Power Stadium
Sun May 29 2016 - Leicester King Power Stadium
