More about:

Later this month Placebo will host an online charity auction, giving fans the chance to snap up unique, one-of-a-kind items from a career spanning three decades.

On 29 September fans will be able to bid, via their wesite, for lotsof very cool stuff;including a jumper singer/songwriter Brian Molko wore in the video for 1998’s seminal hit ‘Pure Morning’, and a CD single of David Bowie collaboration ‘Without You I’m Northing’ signed by the Thin White Duke himself.

Also up for grabs is a Vivienne Westwood jacket worn onstage at the 1999 BRIT Awards. Worry not, skint fans – Molko is also offering up a number of his old used earplugs.

All proceeds will be donated to UK-based mental health charity CALM (the Campaign Against Living Miserably) and The Mercy Centre, Bankok, which looks after poor children, the homeless and families struggling with HIV/AIDS.
