That band's got style...

Highly praised punk band LIFE have unleashed the video for ‘Sugar God’, the next single to be taken from their blistering debut Popular Music.

Whole heartedly embodying the spirit of DIY – doing it for themselves, the people of their native Hull and the world it seems, it’s difficult not to get caught in the infectious yet relatable nature of their lyrics, and this thrilling two minute sonic rapture is fine proof of that.

Speaking about their politically-charged debut, vocalist Mez Sanders-Green offers, “Our album sounds like panic and anxiety, it's the sound of shitting it about whatever happens next week, about what you can weigh through on the self-checkout to get your beans cheaper. It's an LP made up of the psyche of everyone who can see they're getting fucked and there's a lot of people getting fucked right now.”

The wonderfully ramshackle quartet produced and mixed their debut LP with Grammy award winner Ian Dowling (Everything Everything, Black Honey) and have spent their summer winning over new fans at various festivals across the country including Reading & Leeds, Latitude and Truck with their tongue-in-cheek lyricism and enthralling live show.
