More about:

Guns ‘n Roses front man Axl Rose was suffering from low blood pressure and low blood sugar when he was taken ill during the bands Wembley Arena show.

As previously reported on Gigwise Rose was replaced by Skid Row front man Sebastian Bach for two songs at the end of the London gig.

However, the illness didn’t put off Rose calling the bands European tour “amazing”.

In a statement he said: "I approached this last show with equal parts determination, obligation, responsibility and insanity. It was an amazing night."

"I want to thank everyone in Europe and the UK for inspiring us and for giving us the opportunity to play for them. We are now looking forward to the US in September."
