The Magic Numbers are to headline this year’s Summer Sundae Festival which takes place at De Montford Hall in Leicester.
They are the first headliners to be announced for the three day event which takes place over the weekend of August 10-12.
Also playing will be Echo and the Bunnymen, The Pipettes, The Rumblestrips, Duke Special, Gruff Rhys, Kitty Daisy and Lewis, Tiny Dancers, The Whip, Ben Taylor, Richmond Fontaine and Cud.
The festival is now in its sixth year and organisers say they are still striving to give the audience the best experience possible.
They said: “We’ve come a long way in six years and we intend to keep developing Summer Sundae Weekender to give the bands and audience even more of what they want.
“Members of the public and critics alike have praised the laid back, friendly atmosphere that we have managed to create with an eclectic programme of artists.“
Early bird tickets for the festival will be available up to March 9 for the knock down price of £75.
