Metric and Broken Social Scene frontwoman Emily Haines has announced details of her debut solo album.
Haines, along with her band The Soft Skeleton, releases ‘Knives Don’t Have Your Back’ on June 4.
Amongst those appearing on the album are Scott Minor from Sparklehorse, Broken Social Scene's Justin Peroff, Stars' Evan Cranley and Metric's Jimmy Shaw.
The record was recorded in various locations in Los Angeles, Montreal, Toronto and New York.
The single ‘Doctor Blind’ comes out a fortnight earlier as a digital release only.
A live date has also been confirmed for the Homefires Festival at the Conway Hall in Holborn on June 2. More shows are expected to be announced soon.
