As far as debut singles go, The Hussy’s have glossy production. As is the way it seams, a band can have huge radio play, internet hype and a ‘successful tour’ in their back pockets before they have even wrote a song these days. Bursting out of Glasgow with praise ringing in their ears, The Hussy’s have released a double A-side of raunchy, bubblegum candy pop with nods to Catatonia, The Rezillos and the Pipettes. It’s music that sixth forms and student unions around the country will love. That is not derogatory; it is the truth. With plenty of radio play, 2 sell out dates at the famous king Tuts in Glasgow and support act with The Levellers in the pipeline, the future looks rose tinted.
