Did someone say “free”? Indeed we did. In addition to the previously announced programme of live music, Victoria Park in Hackney, London, will open up to a further four days of free outdoor cinema, live music, street food, bars, theatre, arts and sports.
And it won’t be any old toot either. Movie theme nights will include All Points 80s, All Points Musical and All Points Global World Cinema, as well as hosting a range of local and world musical talent.
All Points East In The Neighbourhood will be open with free entry at Victoria Park from Monday 28 to Thursday 31 May from 10am until 9.30pm.
“Victoria Park is a great space for events and we are excited about All Points East coming to the borough,” said Mayor of Tower Hamlets John Biggs. “When we made the agreement with the promoters we ensured that community benefits are a key part of what will be delivered.
“There will be a four-day programme of free activities, which is an exciting opportunity to showcase our borough’s rich and diverse cultural talent and ensure that local people have a chance to get involved in what should be a great event.”
He continued: “‘In the Neighbourhood’ will mean residents and families in Tower Hamlets can enjoy dozens of free events, and sample some of the culinary delights and beverages provided by local food and drink businesses.”
