On Video have today (30 April) released another new track, ‘Past Tense’.

If previous single ‘Ghee’ was their statement of purpose, ‘Past Tense’ is the affirmation of On Video’s already impressive chemistry in playing style, despite their infancy as band. Hassan Anderson’s indie verses give way to the brash but catchy pop-rock chorus, with Neil Goody’s rattling guitarwork underscoring the song to set the energy Past Tense requires for its duration. On Video emerged in a strong way with ‘Ghee’, the first single from EP Clap Trap, which is set for release later this year. Back in March we described it as, “like a triple shot of caffeine - succinct and strong, and bursting with energy. The upbeat, indie pop track tingles with fuzzy garage influences; the propulsive guitar combines with great hooks and catchy lyrics.”

And now ‘Past Tense’ is further reason for excitement around On Video, drawing more anticipation for their debut EP which will be released via AWAL / Rex River Bay.
