Newly formed super-trio Red Hearse have today unveiled two tracks from their upcoming self-titled debut album. Made up of Jack Antonoff, singer Sam Dew and flourishing producer Sounwave (a.k.a. Mark Spears), best known for his work with Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q, the trio are  bursting with talent. It’s therefore no surprise that their first offerings, ‘Red Hearse’ and ‘Honey’, are brimming with rich originality.

‘Red Hearse’, a fast-paced track laden with a sick bass-driven beat that carries Dew’s Timberlake-esque smooth vocals gets you going from the very first beat. ‘Honey’, on the other hand, is equally appraisable for it’s R&B feel and smooth melodies while Dew’s sultry vocals on the track are a tribute to its title, flowing like honey throughout the song.

Only released today, the two track’s already have us excited over what Red Hearse have in store for the future. The band, born and raised in Los Angeles are apparently deeply influenced by the members’ hometowns of New Jersey, Chicago and Los Angeles. The group’s forthcoming album is due out later this summer via RCA Records, but until then, check out the band’s ‘Red Hearse’ and ‘Honey’ below:
