Brazen Bristol upstarts Football FC have today (6 August) unveiled new track ‘Big Time’ via Permanent Creeps Records.

A lingering bassline, statement of intent guitars and cascading synths form the basis of the track that also wouldn’t sound out of place bouncing off the walls from the speakers of your favourite sticky-floored South London boozer.

Having only been a band for less than a year, the quartet have already scored an adept sound which really shines through on this release, placing them firmly on the cusp of something truly exciting. Listen to ‘Big Time’ below:

Speaking about the track, the band say, “‘Big Time’ is basically a song about the evils of capitalism and big business. I wanted to put myself in the shoes of someone who thinks their wealth makes them better than others and wanders about all day with the massive ego swinging between their legs. Once we had that walking bassline the song just wrote itself and we recorded it in an afternoon. We were told that it was going to be released via Permanent Creeps before we had even played it together.”

If you like what you hear, Football FC have the following live dates coming up:

AUGUST
07 - London, The Victoria (w/ Italia 90)
