With rock at its heart, King Nun have crafted a song with plenty of nuance in its stop-and-start guitars, bending strings and bouncing bassline, with vocalist Theo Polyzoides supplying his evocative imagery and considerable punning power in lyrics that never retain the same melody.
Plucked from the centre of the approaching Dirty Hit released record, ‘Low Flying Dandelion’ is a Frankenstein’s monster of genre, all pulling from Rock music’s rich history. King Nun reference grunge, indie and emo in the 3 minute, 40 second song, hinting at the devil-may-care approach to their debut LP.
MASS will be released on 4 October via Dirty Hit.
