In January, the iconic Roundhouse venue in Camden will play host to In The Round, a series of rare and intimate performances from a diverse range of artists from 24 January - 1 February 2020.

The first lineup release comes today, in the form of six artists who will play an intimate set for a seated audience, giving them a rare opportunity to delve deep into the performances and get up close and personal with the artists.

The uplifting jazz groove of KOKOROKO’s Afrobeat sounds will fill the room, and Badly Drawn Boy will be performing music from his back-catalogue alongside brand new material. Jorge Drexler will make his only UK appearance to perform his spellbinding solo show, Beverly Knight will celebrate the release of her new live album with a trademark power performance, Anaïs Mitchell will take to the stage to perform her formidable folksong and balladry, while Fatoumata Diawara’s trailblazingly modern African music will inject a dose of colour into the auditorium.

As part of the Roundhouse’s commitment to developing emerging talent, young artists who use the Paul Hamlyn Roundhouse Studios will perform as support acts for each headline artist. Below are the full dates for the intimate performances, with more acts to be announced. Tickets are on sale this Friday (27 September).
