Vaccines frontman Justin Young and bandmate Timothy Lanham have announced their brand new project Halloweens. The duo commemorate their news with a AA side and grainy video. The new sounds on 'Hannah, You're Amazing' and 'Ur Kinda Man' debut a new direction for the friends and collaborators. 

Yes, Justin Young's distinctive vocal will always be synonymous with the hormonal adrenaline of The Vaccines, but with Halloweens, that personality reaches into new corners. 'Hannah, You're Amazing' is a simple ditty with cutesy, tongue-in-cheek lyrics delivered with corny aplomb, while 'Ur Kinda Man' is a knowing lullaby rooted in millennial cynicism. Along with 'Hannah, You're Amazing', the duo share a fun-loving video set in a red room complete with Roman props. There's a lot of synchonised piano playing, white capes and leaning nonchalantly on pianos. Basically, it looks like Halloweens are here to have fun. 

'Ur Kinda Man' pirhouettes along in a lovely stream of devotional words and delightful keys, though there's no video for that one yet. 

Both 'Hannah, You're Amazing' and 'Ur Kinda Man' show off a notebook of clever lyrics rooted in experiences both modern ("my denim I get in Japan") and timeless ("I've thought about death every day of my life"). Both are testament to the songwriting skill of the Vaccines vocalist.
