FKA twig’s vocals are more heavenly than ever on her latest single ‘killer’. Leaning more into pop sounds, ‘killer’ showcases her angelic voice as she hits sky-high notes and navigates the dark depths of heartbreak.

Following on from the highly celebrated caprisongs mixtape and a dazzling Tiny Desk Concert, ‘killer’ is a taste of more new music arriving this year. Fans of her most emotional work will want to get all up in their feelings with this one. FKA twigs eloquently explained the inspiration behind ‘killer’:

‘“It’s dangerous to be a woman in love”- when at its worst the effects of heart break can define one’s trajectory much more than the beauty of the love itself, in my song ‘Killer’ I explore this concept. The navigation, the hunt and the kill. The death of promises, dreams and the future that was once promised. But like the wildest plucked roses, I find myself more beautiful delicately wilted, in shadow, forced solace, darkened at the edges and achingly thirsting to be tended to again.’
