The four-piece move towards arenas at breakneck pace

More about:

Bright young talents Inhaler have debuted their new single 'We Have To Move On'. It's another sure step for the four-piece, with a curious blend of 80s alt sounds and fizzing 00s indie.

'We Have To Move On' is the first single from Inhaler in 2020. It follows the popular 'Ice Cream Sundae' from last year, which was the band's first release on their new label Polydor. This new release is a sure step for Elijah Hewson and band, with catchy bridges and a knack for experimentation.

Hear it:

As part of our 20 hopefuls for 2020 piece, we called Inhaler "smooth as a pint of Guinness." Live, too, they're a force to be reckoned with. After seeing them perform in London, our reviewer said that it’s "probably a good idea to try and see Inhaler up close while they’re still playing these venues." They placed fifth in this year's annual BBC Sound Of poll.

“I’m just trying to write about the joy of being alive, being a teenager, and the bad things that can come with that" frontman and son of Bono Elijah Hewson said, "I don’t like it to be all happy, I don’t like it to be all sad."

Catch them while they're still playing relatively small venues:
