Drag Grunge gets another addition to its growing discography today thanks to sole contributors Happyness. 'Ouch (yup)' is an uplifting guitar journey with mounrful undertones and political inspirations.

The new single is the third slice of forthcoming album Floatr, building on confident releases 'Seeing Eye Dog' and 'Vegetable' - the latter of which you can see performed live at the Gigwise-hosted Close Encounter Club.
Like with 'Vegetable', expect a wicked blend of Smashing Pumpkins and Weezer, but this time with a bouncier vibe for days when you're feeling a little tiny bit less apathetic.

This one is "about processing the stuff you leave behind," the band explained. They continue, revealing that "we were going through some massive life changes around the time we wrote this song, and Brexit was happening (remember that!) It’s about disbelief I guess. And the slow excruciating dawning of reality :/ Reality is a weird rush, the truth sets you free. Those kinds of things."
Born in Brexit but relevant for the current political landscape, the uncertainty in 'Ouch (yup)' is even more relatable now than it perhaps ever has been.
It's the third single taken from Floatr, which is coming soon...though still maybe while we're all in quarantine.
