More about: The 1975
Notes on a Conditional Form is going to be a restless album. The 1975 pushed its release back again this week, and dropped a brand new single today in the form of 'Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America'. They've gone full mid-noughties, sad-girl folk for this one, refusing to stick to a genre from release to release.

Bon Iver meets Owl City meets Benjamin Francis Leftwich on the new song, which features a fitting guest appearance from sad girl supremo herself Phoebe Bridgers.
Built around a simple acoustic finger-pick, this'll be a new sound for many younger fans, but to anyone who can remember 2005, it's a delicious throwback.
Notes on a Conditional Form will be released on 22 May, featuring twenty-two songs including one we really want to hear right now called 'Bagsy Not In Net'.
For now, you'll have to be happy with the songs you've got, including 'The Birthday Party', 'You and Me Together Song', and now 'Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America'.
See you on 22 May for the release of Notes On A Conditional Form, released by Dirty Hit.
