Easy Life have released a sample of new music: their first tunes since this year's debut mixtape Junk Food. 'Peanut Butter' and 'Petty Crime' are two easy-going demos delivered from their homes to ours in a package titled See You Later Maybe Never.

'Peanut Butter' swaggers along on a laptop beat that taps into the DIY, inventive DNA of Easy Life, though there's a definite mainstream pop vibe to that relaxed vocal and brass. Can you imagine it as a viral Tik Tok sound? We can.

'Petty Crime' meanwhile shimmies on a glitchy foundation complete with catchy refrain, the easy poetry of its verses seriously reminiscent of Arlo Parks. Easy Life collaborated with Parks on Junk Food single 'Sangria' earlier this year.

Hear 'Peanut Butter':

On the new dual collection of demos, the band commented: "We wanted to put something out to spare people from the infinite boredom that is lockdown and also just to keep ourselves entertained. pretty simple really, just a couple of tunes to make people smile and get them through the day.”

Recorded, produced and filmed in lockdown, the two components of the See You Later Maybe Never demos prove that Easy Life are an essential part of modern life, in or out of quarantine.
