More about: The Pretenders
The Pretenders have followed up a recent streak of singles with another: 'Turf Accountant Daddy' is taken from the album Hate For Sale, out in July and from the cuts we've gotten so far, we're expecting a New York post-punk extravaganza.

'Turf Accountant Daddy' is reminiscent of Iggy Pop's Berlin years and contemporaries Blondie. It's Pretenders at their full strength: sounds that evoke in us an irresistible sense of nostalgia...and make us wish live music was still A Thing.
The single follows Hate For Sale's title track, 'You Can't Hurt a Fool' and lead single 'The Buzz'. Its accompanying video was made in lockdown.
