Himalayas have shared a new mosh pit-starter today in the form of 'We Love To Hate'. Like many bands and artists (and to the disgust of many a fascist out there), Himalayas are politically-active, and nowhere is that more obvious than in their new track - premiering all day here on Gigwise.

Himalayas address wilful ignorance and urge people to wake up to their own bias on the new single. 'Love To Hate' uses frenetic garage rock as the medium for delivering this message: "never could you love to love yourself/so you love to hate" frontman Joe Williams howls on the cyclone of the guitars that surround him.

It's a song to conjure the mother of all mosh-pits - like the ones you see spliced with protest photography in the accompanying video, directed by Andrew Cooper. Let's hope all of the people dancing to the song take in the lyrics:

Their new anthem, the band say, is "about projecting anger outwards towards undeserving targets rather than facing up to and addressing our own problems. It’s becoming easier and easier to pin it on the most popular scapegoats than to go to the root of the problem and try to fix it."

Wise words lads.
