Newcomers Bull have today announced their signing to EMI in conjunction with Young Thugs. To celebrate, they've released a lovely new tune called 'Green'. Alt-rock fans will love the mellow tones of Americana grunge mixed with nineties pop.

Light 'n' bright, 'Green' hinges around a joyful alt-rock riff and a bouncing melody that flies high on the blissful nostalgia of backing vocals. There's a sunny guitar solo in there, too, because Bull know what the people want.

There are blissful elements of psych, classic rock and carefree pop in this celebratory single - just gorgeous:

What's the song about? Some members say it's about the classic saying 'the grass is always greener on the other side', but another muses that it's about “ripping bongs down at the basketball court when you really should be writing the next great American novel.”

Bull have been on the scene in York since 2011 and have played shows with Squid, The Orielles and more underground indie big wigs.

Ears open for more! There are some older tunes for you to check out here.
