Public Enemy have annouced their return to Def Jam and a new album. The homecoming release will be titled What You Gonna Do When The Grid Goes Down and will arrive next month.

For now, you can hear a newly updated, remixed version of the classic Public Enemy tune 'Fight The Power'. With all the punch of the original, it's been freshened up with features from Nas, Rapsody and more, as well as some powerful verses about the current political landscape. Breonna Taylor gets a mention in the five-minute remix, as well as George Floyd.

"The next generation still singing 'Fight The Power'". Always:

The group are pleased to be at home on Def Jam. “Public Enemy songs are forever sonic prints in the sands of time. And it’s time - it’s necessary - to bring the noise again from a place called home," Chuck D said.

The group recently shared their comeback in the form of Donald Trump takedown 'State of the Union (STFU)'.

What You Gonna Do When The Grid Goes Down arrives 25 September via Def Jam.
