Joesef has collaborated with Loyle Carner for his latest single 'I Wonder Why'. The new track celebrates the release of tickets for this indie newcomer's forthcoming winter European tour. A link to buy those at the end of this article!

'I Wonder Why' falls into the discography Joesef is building with effortless ease. Resplendent indie vibes abound on this gorgeously sung track. Sixteenth hi-hats add an irresistible groove to a soundscape of R'n'B indebted layers.

Loyle Carner is the perfect complement to Joesef's honeyed vocals: in his voice, too, there's a balm for stress and pain. Hear the collaboration:

The new track follows April's 'The Sun Is Up Forever', a song written for the artist's mother. 

'I Wonder Why' was written, recorded and produced by Joesef himself before having Carner's verse neatly embroidered in. On the collab, Joesef said: “I never work with anyone at all but my mates and I are Loyle’s biggest fans so it was a real dream come true to be able to hear him on a song I’d made."
