Low Hummer have shared a brand new piece of their ever-growing, ever-impressive repertoire. 'Take Arms' arrives today, following recent cut 'Sometimes I Wish (I Was A Different Person)'.

Relentless bass, anxious guitars and a smorgasbord of electronic madness combine to show off Low Hummer's dancier talents. Where before guitars have taken centre-stage, on 'Take Arms', synth and keys do their magic. Both approaches make for impressive listening.

Check out Low Hummer's back catalogue if you're looking for a new band to get into: previous releases 'The Real Thing' and 'I Choose Live News' are particular bangers.

“I was pretty engrossed in the idea of the end of the world when I wrote ‘Take Arms’. I wanted to write a rallying call that would attempt to address everyone, at a point in the near future where we are at the edge of no return" band songwriter Daniel Mawer said.

Happy USA election day, everyone...
