Yard Act have shared a third single in the form of the inventive, witty 'Peanuts', a post-punk romp about a wife bumping off her husband via his nut allergy.

The three-minute song comes in a wave of acts: the first a sprechgesang krautrock chug, the second an indie romp that sets the scene and the third a dry spoken word passage detailing the lead up to the murder - undercut by the whistling prowess of new guitarist Sam Shjipstone's grandfather.
It's quite the journey:
There's a lot more to the song than mariticide though. James Smith explains: "it’s also about accepting that we don’t all see the world in the same way. It feels to me that divisions are getting more extreme. We’re continually squeezing what should be a wide ranging spectrum of opinions and beliefs into two immovable castles towering either side of an unelected, unaccountable line in the sand."
“I’m as disappointed in those who chortle ‘gammon’ as I am those who cry ‘snowflake’ because it’s just doing the same thing but filtered through a different version of reality."
