One of our favourite new singer-songwriters of recent years, Ellie Bleach has shared another one of her perfect singles. 'I Thought I Saw You Last Night' says farewell to an ex in characteristically catty style - and bolstered by the sounds of 70s pop, no less!

Armed with her trusty keys and an endless supply of ironic asides, Ellie Bleach is at her acidic best on her new cut, a track that pairs well with standout release 'Jackie O'. Like her recent release 'He Bought Me Nikes', it's another break-up takedown for the ages.

"Well don't the bridal party look so pleased with themselves?"

“’I Thought I Saw You Last Night’ is about watching a former lover move on when they’re still at the forefront of your mind," Ellie explained, "there are parts of people that stay with you years after the relationship has finished, like hearing their favourite song play in a bar.”
