Dublin post-punks Sprints have shared another rip-roarer today: 'Manifesto' is another piece of their debut EP of the same name, which is arriving via Nice Swan Records next year.
With a breakdown that begs for the band to go simply bananas on stage, smashing guitars and upending drums, 'Manifesto' is a slow-burning track that's taut with fury.

Sonically and lyrically, it's a jagged continuation of 'Drones'. Social and personal resentment spills out over overdriven guitars and relentless percussion:
“Manifesto is all about control, and the seeming lack of it we have sometimes - control over our own lives, our own bodies, our own societies. Written during the time of the Repeal the 8th referendum in Ireland, it's a call for equality," lead singer Karla Chubb said.
"Manifesto is about turning your cheek to the critics and bigots and those who judge and doubt, to try shake the shackles of everyday existence and mundanity and go carve your own path.“
