Electronic pop newcomer Jessica Winter has remixed the massive Lucia & The Best Boys ballad 'Let Go'. The alternate mix is out now.

Winter, who released her debut EP Sad Music this year, is the perfect artist to remix the solemn piece: as you'll see from the title of her first release, she's a dab-hand at making music to cry in the club to. Her 'Let Go' remix is no different: those dance beats are shot through with ambient echoes to mirror the terrible sadness of the original.

We named fellow The State of Things EP single 'Perfectly Untrue' one of our Tracks of the Year last week, though we noted that "the tender, emotive 'Let Go' could have taken this spot too."
