Shame are as post-punk as they come on brand new Drunk Tank Pink single 'Nigel Hitter. The fourth cut from the forthcoming album, it premiered as Annie Mac's Hottest Record in the World this evening.

There's an uncanny deepfake video along with it, which shows the band living in historic baby research times. Each of the band members feature in the eerily realistic film, and the babies have been made to look as if they are singing along to the song. The video was directed by Maxim Kelly.
"Nigel Hitter is one of the vital organs of Drunk Tank Pink. A necessary pulse. Focused on daily routine, repetition, and how extraordinary any ordinary task seemed to me after coming home from touring. A world of percussion and joy lies within" the band said.
Most of Drunk Tank Pink was written in a small out-house painted calming pink and nicknamed 'The Womb' as frontman Charlie Steen tried to write his way out of post-tour psychosis.
"The common theme when I was catching up with my mates was this identity crisis everyone was having,” reflects Steen. “No one knows what the fuck is going on.”
