Today, January 8, is what would have been David Bowie's 74th birthday. The music industry isn't letting the date go by: tonight, there will be a big, star-studded livestream celebration called 'Just For One Day'. Duran Duran have joined in the festivities with a lovely cover of 'Five Years'.

The new-wave popstars will feature on tonight's stream, alongside - among many others - Billy Corgan, Gary Oldman, Macy Gray, YUNGBLUD and Trent Reznor. It looks to be a big big affair to mark five years since Bowie's passing.

Hear their cover of 'Five Years':

It looks as if they'll perform it on the show, as so many other stars also share covers of their favourite Bowie songs alongside his old band members.

"“My life as a teenager was all about David Bowie. He is the reason why I started writing songs," Simon Le Bon said, "I can’t begin to explain how honored I feel for Duran Duran to be given the opportunity to perform this icon."

Stream the concert wherever you are. Tickets here.
