More about:

Photographer and musician Alex Amorós has created a moving project featuring photographs of forty of London's empty music venues. Completed on foot during the second lockdown in 2020, Amorós is selling his 40 Music Venues book in aid of Save Our Venues, which is fundraising to save grassroots music venues from closure. Pre-order it here.

"Live Music has shaped so much of my life, from working in the venues to playing myself. I wanted to give something back and show support in whatever way I can" the photographer wrote on Instagram.

The project shows the temporarily abandoned outside of some of London's most beloved grassroots music venues, including Brixton's Windmill, Camden's Roundhouse, Hawley Arms and Assembly, and Hackney's Oslo, Moth Club and The Sebright Arms.

We don't need to tell you how important a cause this is - here's the pre-order link again.
