Two indie gods have collided today as Vagabon and Courtney Barnett cover 'Reason to Believe' together. A frequently-covered track originally recorded by Tim Hardin in 1965, this version is inspired by the Karen Dalton interpretation.

Barnett and Lætitia Tamko of Vagabon originally performed this piece together on Valentine's Day 2020 at L.A.'s Palace Theater and now it's available for everyone to draw some peace and hope from. It's a calming listen featuring slide guitar and country vibes, and it arrives with a softly-lit, joy-filled video.

There's a mutual admiration between Barnett and Tamko: "I'm a huge fan of Vagabon and Karen Dalton so this was a dream. They both have a voice that absolutely knocks the wind out of me" Courtney said.
