slowthai has teased his forthcoming sophomore album with new single 'MAZZA' - an effort in collaboration with A$AP Rocky. It comes as the rapper confirms the new record will arrive on 5 February despite the ongoing Coronavirus crisis in the UK.

The new track follows the lead of previous Tyron releases, dabbling in a softer palette than Mercury-nominated debut Nothing Great About Britain, which came out in 2019. It's the third official single taken from the LP and focuses on a sparse beat.

A video for the single will arrive later this week. It follows previous singles 'nhs' and 'feel away' - a collaboration with James Blake and Mount Kimbie. slowthai also shared standalone single 'Thoughts' in December.
Earlier today, slowthai posted a statement to his Twitter, stating: "i've personally struggled more with my own mental health during this time and wanted to let you know that you're not alone...i cannot allow this virus to keep holding us back." He notes that though he and his team considered pushing the release of tyron back, they have decided to keep the original release date of 5 February.
