Rock club stalwart and relatable nu-metal banger 'Last Resort' from Papa Roach has turned twenty years-old...and it's received a modern shake-up from TikTok star Jeris Johnson as a present. 

The hit has been made doubly fresh today with the work of Jeris Johnson, who has added some very contemporary creeping percussion lines, trap-inspired cymbals and heavy rapping to the original tune.

The triple-Platinum hit, which first dropped at the turn of the Millennium, has picked up new fans along its two-decade life in the public sphere. As of January 2021, the original track has over half a billion streams on Spotify.

"That conversation of Last Resort and its impact on all types of people hasn't stopped for 20 years, and we were stoked to "Reload" it for a new generation to keep that conversation going" Jacoby Shaddix said.
