Be-mulleted Aussie Emerson Snowe has returned with 'Frankenstein', a new indie track that announces a second EP arriving later this year. Landing with a Rocky Horror collage visual, it's a sharp reintroduction.

Some of the woozy otherworldliness no doubt comes from mixing by War on Drugs collaborator Nicolas Vernhes, though it would sound that way regardless thanks to vaguely unsettling horns and propulsive percussion. 'Frankenstein' is a woozy blend of Gothicism and golden age indie.

“Frankenstein was the last track written in this soon to be released collection of songs. I wrote it in 30 minutes after a friend listened to a batch of my music and said that it had given them life" Snowe, who began his solo project after becoming sober in 2016, said.

Snowe was one of our 29 to watch in 2019, playing a set at The Great Escape later that year.

An EP will follow.
