Field Music have announced details of their eighth studio album, entitled Flat White Moon. Alongside this news, they have released 'No Pressure', the lead single from the album, which follows teaser track 'Orion From the Street'.
The album has a more personal thematic streak to it than prior Field Music releases, conveying heavy emotion with a light at the end of the tunnel. "We want to make people feel good about things that we feel terrible about" says David Brewis of the band in regards to the ethos of the record.
The single is accompanied by a light-hearted instructional video, 'Learn to Record the Field Music Way'. Flat White Moon is available to pre-order now, and the singles 'No Pressure' and 'Orion From the Street' are available to stream now. The band have also announced a UK tour for October 2021, with dates listed below.
