More about:

Other than a clutch of remixes for seminal record V, The Horrors have not released anything new into the world since 2017. Today, they remedy that with a brand new song: 'Lout' announces a three-track EP of the same name coming in just a few weeks.

Heavier than we've heard from the band ever before, 'Lout' is a deluge of crunching, squelching, almost industrial sounds that takes some of the darkness of debut LP Strange House and explodes them into something much bigger - and much more finely produced.

Tune in:

Faris Badwan had this to say about the track: “Lout is about the relationship between choice and chance, compulsive risk-taking and pushing your luck. As a band, particularly live, we’ve always had an aggressive side and as we began writing new songs it became clear that we were heading in that direction.”

You can pre-order a limited edition blood red 7” vinyl of 'Lout'/'Org' here.

Lout EP arrives 12 March via Wolf Tone/Virgin Music.
