Stubborn Heart are releasing their second album, Made of Static, via One Little Independent Records on 4 June. This is their first new music since their debut album came out 8 years ago, following February's comeback 'Talking Gold'.

The new single ‘Against The Tide’ reflects the fast-paced culture of living in New York City. The new song is electronic pop with a darker edge to create a uniquely cold atmosphere throughout the song. This intriguing style will be explored throughout Made of Static.

Music video director Michael England explains the visuals of the cinematic music video:

“I felt the track Against the Tide captures the sense and pace of the city. The video serves as a reminder of what the city is all about. Documented between 2018 and 2019, they fall somewhere between Orson Welles’ notion of the Devine Accident and Henri Cartier-Bresson’s concept of the Decisive Moment.”

Made Of Static will be the duo's first album since their critically-acclaimed 2012 self-titled debut.
