Band members from Slowdive, The Flaming Lips, The Soft Cavalry and Casket Girls have teamed up to form new project Beachy Head. The supergroup, named after the chalk cliff in Sussex ("one of Britain’s most popular beauty spots but also a notorious suicide spot"), have released lead single ‘Destroy Us’ from their upcoming self-titled album.

Their debut album will be released 30 April via Graveface Records. Lead single ‘Destroy Us’ was first created as a demo in 2019, with recording taking place over the course of a year in between lockdowns. The track has a lush, dreamy sound with stunning vocal harmonies and plenty of synth. The result is a wholly ethereal atmosphere.
