Major Murphy have released the latest single from their upcoming album Access, set for release 2 April via Winspear. ‘Real’ takes its inspiration from meditation, opening with some soft acoustics before merging with distorted guitars. The gentle vocals keep that self-care energy going throughout the song.

It's a bit lighter than previous songs that they’ve released, but it doesn’t compromise the shining personality of the band that comes through on ‘Real’. Even with all the pressure we face right now, Major Murphy remind us all to take a moment and just breathe.

On the full album, Waxahatchee had this to say: “It’s an album that’s remarkably cohesive - a striking relic in an age where ardent and true 'album-making' is a fading art form."
